As a leader of a youth organization like Chiro, it is one of my responsibilities to form the leaders of our local groups. As a citizen and as a person, I believe that all of us need to look after our environment. Likewise, it is our responsibility as a leader to teach the children and youth of the importance of taking care of the earth by taking cake of the environment. In Chiro Philippines, we have several campaigns to help preserve the earth. We also encourage our members and leaders to participate in Earth Hour. Doing youth work does not only entail personal development of children but more so, being a responsible citizen and being God's helper in preserving nature.
Climate Change should be discussed in the General Assembly since all of us are affected by this situation. It is hoped that through this GA, the participants would have additional information that can be echoed to our local leaders.
