Euroforum 2005
4 - 8 of May, Westmalle, Belgium
Intercultural dialogue in a multicultural society
You probably have experienced it, or you certainly have seen it on the news, it is a hot topic all over Europe (and all over the world):
Immigration, integration, the clash of cultures...

Most of the time it is negative news we get: fundamentalist Muslim terrorists, synagogues set on fire, separatist and racist political parties
win elections,...
But here and there we also see small projects of cooperation between different ethnic groups getting started, youth movements (like KJG) setting
up dialogue projects, schools making integration projects.
Is there, concerning this theme, a role for youth movements in our countries? What can a local group do as a concrete action? How can a
catholic youth movement take part in building up our society as a good place to live for all people?
In workshops, games, meetings, visits and reflections we will try to find out what we can do as local, regional or national organisations.
Everyone will go home with concrete ideas and actions...
A more detailed programme will follow.
