Only some weeks after the disaster in Haiti, an earthquake hit Chili.  The city of Concepción was hit very hard, and it's in this city that our friends of Jupach Chili are based.

The earthquake in Haiti also affects members and their families of Kiro Haiti. After some weeks our member organisation is trying to come together. It is of course difficult to communicate with the local groups of Kiro Haiti.

On tuesday 12 January Haiti was hit very hard by an earthquake.  At this moment it is still not clear how many victems there are and how big the damage is.

Our support, thoughts and prayers are going to the people of Haiti. 
 
We have not been able yet to get in contact with the people of our member organization Kiwo Ayiti, but we hope that they and their families are in good health.  As soon as we have a better overview of the situation, Fimcap will offer its support to Kiwo Ayiti to overcome this dramatic event.
